The See Thru Scout Scope Mount for Mosin Nagant M9130 rifles chambered in 7.62x54r allows you to "Scope your Mosin" while preserving its historic integrity. Mount and MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail are rigid steel construction with black oxide finish and bolt securely over rear sight block. Any scope on any mount that receives an impact (dropped, hit, etc.) should not be trusted to be accurate. This product provides ability to use original open sights if mount/scope have been compromised. Mount is designed for use with rear sight blocks that have TWO pins (not the sight leaf pivot pin) passing through the top edge of barrel. These pin holes are often located inconsistently as a result of original manufacturing process. They are frequently not parallel and may be skewed. Occasionally, the block itself, as it sits on the barrel dovetail underneath, can be out of alignment with the bore axis. This condition, if extreme, can adversely affect how Mount sits. Mount will accommodate a front to back (horizontal) pin center distance of 1.39" (35.3mm) to 1.82" (46.7mm) and allows for .039" (1mm) of up and down (vertical) movement. It is designed for blocks measuring between .750"(19.05mm) and .787"(20.00mm) wide. We have made every reasonable effort to ensure that our Mount will work with the vast majority of M9130's. This mount will NOT work for M38, M44 or T53's. Scope and rings are not provided. Made in America with a 100% Lifetime Warranty.
